Now that’s BS … Attorney General above the Law
Unless you’ve totally given up on the country you must have seen our Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales, testifying before congress the other day. You talk about bullshit … that was a damned shame. I couldn’t believe my eyes. The dictionary defines bullshit as nonsense, lies and/or exaggerations. Well, Mr. Gonzales sure was slinging it before congress last week.
I didn’t think I would ever see such a display since President Clinton said, “I didn’t have sex with that woman.” But here we go again. Gonzales was so full of himself, so cutesy, so aloof, he made Brownie look like a straight shooter. And what’s worse, he did it with the support of the White House.
For him to sit there and repeat, with a smug smile on his face, I am sorry, I just can’t remember, is a travesty of justice. We have to stop standing for it. For someone in his position to sit before the highest body in this land, I know they are pitiful too, and lie like he did … now that is bullshit!
